Visually Impaired Cricket Sessions


Ashton, Bristol


Fun, enjoyable and engaging cricket sessions for beginners through to experienced VI cricketers


Thursdays, 7-8pm through the winter

What’s happening?

The Gloucestershire Cricket Board, supported by Lords Taverners, are starting a new programme to encourage more VI and Blind people to partake in cricket. The sessions are aimed at all levels of the game from the ‘never-played’ to ‘play-regularly’, with experienced coaches on hand to support and assist all attendees.

Who is the activity open to? (male/ female/ mixed)

Mixed of all ages

Is your activity/event for (beginners, mums, etc.)

All levels of experience

Is booking required?

No – can contact Andy Wheeler beforehand to ask any questions

Equipment or specific clothing needed

Tracksuit and trainers ideal but not essential

Skill level required

Open minded to trying new activities and ‘giving it a go’
