    A Wicketz hub is a community cricket hub run by professional and qualified cricket coaches, offering free cricket coaching and games to girls and boys aged 8 – 11. No previous experience of cricket is necessary and all kit will be provided; just turn up, learn new skills, make friends and have fun.

  • Volunteering Opportunities:

    Wicketz welcomes volunteers as assist coaches to help on the day at sessions and tournaments. Cricket tournaments and festivals will also be organised and we will welcome volunteers who can help with the administration and logistics that come with organising an event. Should our volunteers be able to be with us on a long-term basis, we will look into what courses and certificates will be need to upskill those people so the Wicketz hub can continue to thrive at the highest level possible. Maybe you could become the lead coach?

    Wicketz is a cricket focus hub but will also work with other sporting organisions to offer cross over activity. We will also offer relevant educational workshops such as sport nutrition and arep able to offer training to volunteers should they be able to provide sustainability for the hub.

    A Wicketz hub is a community cricket club for the community run by the community and girls and boys are welcome from all levels. The club will be cricket focused and we are also working in partnership with other sporting organisations to offer variety and demonstrate similar skills between other sports to broaden horizons and offer opportunities.
