Activity Description:
Bristol Canoe Club is a club for Canoe and Kayak paddlers in the Bristol area. As at August 2015, we have around 100 adult members (and just a very few youth members). We are an informal club and are not highly organised. The club is active in white water trips, polo, marathon racing, and some surfing. Members also organise some continental trips, as well as many social events during the year. We organise occasional (very occasional) formal beginner’s courses. Please note: We don’t have any facilities for taking out groups, of either adults or youths.

Where does your activity take place?:
Pool sessions in the Bristol South Pool on Dean Lane Bedminster from Sept to March every Wednesday from 8pm. During the summer sessions are held on Thursdays at the Baltic Wharf. Canoe Polo is run underneath the Cumberland Basin every Wednesday night during the summer.
Other Info:
Range of canoeing activities from social paddling to white water, from Polo to Marathon and from Surfing to Slalom.
Please note: We don’t have any facilities for taking out groups, of either adults or youths.
