What will I do?
You will meet One to One over a period of 6 months to get to know each other and choose activities to try out. You will try out activities together until the participant is confident to go alone and then the volunteer will keep in phone contact for the remainder of the 6 months.
How much is it?
No cost, but participants will need to pay for any activities they attend. Expenses will be paid for volunteers.
How long does it last?
What will I achieve from being part of the project?
You will get out and about more, be more active and take part in sociable activities.
What happens afterwards?
There is no follow on, but participants and volunteers may form ongoing social groups. We hope participants and volunteers continue to enjoy activities in their community.
