Accessible Activities 2018-05-22T16:00:37+00:00

Sport and physical activity can improve the health, well-being and quality of life of a person with a disability.

Physically it improves blood circulation, strengthens muscles, improves balance and co-ordination, whilst providing psychological benefits like good self-esteem, confidence and a belief in skills and abilities.

It can also help to reduce anxiety and stress, but most importantly it can be fun and a good social opportunity.

These organisations have provided information on either bespoke or adapted activities. If you are a club/ organisation who has an offer for people with a disability, please email us on: ActiveCity@bristol.gov.uk
